with nearly 40 years history, GT STRUDL has offered structural engineers a complete design solution, and with the addition of GT STRUDL’s 2015 release, we’ve now incorporated 3D CAD modeling and 64-bit high-performance computation solvers into all versions. Our structural analysis software is a high-quality, fully integrated, and database-driven system for comprehensive frame and finite element analysis, and steel and reinforced concrete design.

Verified to Work
Each version of GT STRUDL is validated and verified (V&V) for its computational quality and performance by more than 350 Base Verification test problems that are documented in the 4-volume Base Verification Manual, and by approximately 4,700 additional general V&V test problems, for a total of approximately 5,000 V&V test problems.

Optimized Steel Design
GT STRUDL steel design provides the structural engineer with the ability to perform steel member design and code checking pursuant to a large variety of global steel design codes dating back to the 1960s, which can be controlled by user specified parameters, absolute and relative geometric constraints, member size smoothing strategies, automatic analysis/design iterations, and many more design control options.
Intuitive Base Plate Wizard
Complex steel base plate modeling, linear and nonlinear analysis, and performance evaluations can be performed using an easy-to-use and full featured graphical interface. Users can model base plate criteria including holes; notches; tabs; anchors; attachments; stiffeners; bearing surface data; and boundary conditions representing shear lugs, edge welds, etc.
Easier Reinforced Concrete Design
Design beams, columns, one-way slabs, shear walls, and two-way flat plate and flat slab structures per ACI 318. With special member, floor slab, and wall panel automatic generation capabilities, even complex reinforced concrete building structures are easily modeled. GT STRUDL also provides detailed quantity take-offs based on design results.
Offshore Jacket and Pile Analysis
Analyze and model environmental loadings, such as wind loads, cyclic wave loads, current loads, buoyancy loads, launching and lifting loads, and seismic loads that are applied to offshore structures like fixed jacket structures, cable-stayed and tension-leg semi-submersible structures, and other rigid floating structures.
